Genius cooler hacks to make a cheaper more like a extreme cooler and hold ice longer. Extreme coolers are nice but many extreme coolers have a very high price tag. I have owned 2 Pelican extreme coolers which in my opinion are nicer than the yeti coolers.
If you don’t want to fix up your old cooler maybe consider getting extreme cooler.

However the pelican coolers even though they are built incredibly well and hold ice a long time and stay cold for days they are very bulky at least the 2 pelican extreme coolers I had ice in. The pelican coolers were great for fishing, this cooler used to be a fishing livewell. The cheaper coolers may not be as bulky and they may have a lower price tag at home or they may not hold ice as long. So different people may have different needs, some people may not need a cooler to hold ice the longest, maybe you just want to make the existing cooler you have be able to make the ice last longer. In this video I Kendall Todd show you how to do genius cooler hacks to help make your common cooler more extreme. I use a drill, grip pads, and expanding phone, as well as drill bits. I also give tips on how to make a cooler be able to hold ice longer. You don't need to make your own super polar bear tubes, to make your cooler stay cold for cheaper some tips to make your cooler cold for cheap is bring it inside your house a day before you use it and if possible put it inside of a deep freezer with the lid open. Also go ahead and put gallon jugs of ice inside of the cooler if you can’t put it inside of a deep freezer. Another thing is to freeze water bottles and freeze gallon jugs and keep them in the cooler to help maintain a cold temperature. Another cooler tip is to try to buy ice in bulk at the ice machines instead of by the ice bag and it may save you money from buying as much ice. Another cooler trick is to try to not leave your cooler in direct sunlight. If possible or at the minimum put it in the shade. You may want to keep the cooler in your vehicle, underneath a blanket, underneath an umbrella something but try to have it in the shade. Other way to keep the ice longer in a cooler is to try to avoid opening the lid as much as possible. Coolers are nice for hunting, fishing, gameday, camping etc, but is nice to keep the ice cold a long time and keep food fresh, hopefully this video helped you learn you how to fix up your cooler nicer to hold ice better.
