Yes, I did speak in tongues! I've been an active Christian for maybe 30+ years and NEVER spoke in tongues. It was the elephant in the room, all that time - until now! I literally followed your step by step guide, and so much of what you said made perfect sense. I started speaking in tongues this morning after listening to this video.. it sounded funny at first 🤣 but isn't that how it is supposed to be? UNBELIEVABLE. I ACTUALLY SPOKE IN TONGUES after watching this video. You don't know how grateful I am to God for this. Finally I can pray to Him in His language. This is amazing. EDIT: It's been 2 years since I received this gift and oh what a glorious life I have lived. Today while I was praying with the Holy Ghost (in tongues), the Spirit of God impressed on me to come back to this video and add something here.

You may not speak in tongues the first time Pastor David prays. Don't get discouraged. Simply replay the prayer again. It's not his prayer that makes you speak in tongues but it does help with keeping you focused on God and your spirit man from which the utterance comes. Keep on replaying and focusing on God believing that you already have it until you receive. It won't be very long before it happens. That's how it happened for me. There's absolutely no reason why it shouldn't happen for you. Keep replaying the prayer. I call you blessed.💯💯

My 15 years old received the Holy Spirit after listening to this. He couldn’t pray out loud and didn’t know how to pray. After this prayer he started speaking in tongues. I’m typing this with shaky hands my spirit is so joyful there is a warmth in my heart I can feel even now. I was just making sounds at first. And I noticed I wasn’t letting my mind submit - still trying to rationalize. Then I focused on Jesus’ face. I started imagining his actual face. Then I focused on his love, while my eyes were closed in my imagination I saw this force and presence coming at me from him, then those mumbles I forgot I was even speaking turned into tounges. I started speaking tounges with tears down my face. I know this is the Holy Spirit, my heart is joyful so joyful so joyful. God is real. The Holy Spirit is real. I never thought I could do it but I did and it was REAL. Thank you God.

I've been saved since I was 13. I am 18 now and I have just discovered the true gift of the holy spirit about two weeks ago. i was baptized in the Holy Spirit on a retreat 2 weeks ago. right then and there i desired the gift of tongues. I prayed hard but i didn't receive it. i kept questioning the gift and like this video talks about, I was doing all of those things that stopped me from receiving. So i just stopped asking for the gift and just worshiped and prayed, focusing on keeping my eyes fixed on Jesus; up until now. I just watched this video and my eyes were opened to what I was doing wrong. Toward the end of the video I closed my eyes and opened my hands to receive from the holy spirit. my head and hands got heavy and i could feel him stirring up in my belly but it just stopped. I didn't give up this time though. I immediately shut my laptop, turned off all my lights, and started worshiping. I had to rebuke my mind from thinking too much, i asked the holy spirit to clear my mind. I just wanted to be intimate, without my thoughts, just my heart. I eventually got on my floor and laid my face and hands on my carpet, telling the Holy Spirit i surrender to you. I uttered some sounds and there was one little phrase that I knew was the Holy Spirit. It was so little though, lol. I just kept repeating it, over and over. I felt my flesh lessening and the spirit taking over, i just kept pressing in and repeating the phrase he gave me. Before i knew it, right there with my face on the ground, the holy spirit took over my mouth and i received my prayer language. I was filled with the joy of the Lord as well. It was the most profound and powerful experience of my 18 years. I am so joyful and grateful to have found the power of the holy spirit. my life is changed! thank you for this video :)

Praises to God!!
