IGN, you say that the fact that there is no story is a negative aspect of the game. But I, and many other Terraria players, feel that the lack of a story in a game this deep is refreshing. I would argue that every gamer who plays Terraria comes up with their own story of their adventure exploring and surviving in the game world. Trying to have a predetermined plot or characters would just slow down Terraria and it wouldn't be as good of a game. I think the lack of a formal story or plot is actually a plus for this game.

I think that a story in terraria would be worse. This is because it would restrict you to doing the same thing with each character you make. Without it, each world you make can be played through a different way
