I (50m) grew up in Southern US, had been fed the Israeli narrative my whole life, studied it, bought into it, regurgitated it, and thought I knew all about it.

I had no idea how ignorant I was, how ignorant I _am._ I'm going to have to go back and restudy all of this. I'll probably start by rewatching this video.

My family was expelled from lydda in 1948. My grandparents were forced to walk towards jerusalem. They were then expelled again in 1973 to Jordan. We will return.
