I'm surprised that after all that persecution, exiles, wars etc there are still Jews left. The fact that there are still Jews around and standing strong definitely deserves respect. I dont think there is any other nation on earth who has been through a similar past and survived. Hats off to all Jews

I stand with and love Jews, they are an intelligent and entrepreneurial race of people . Worked many years for a Jewish firm and they respected my and other workers Christian religion and used to put on a slap up Xmas for us .i don’t see the Islamic people doing that

Im pretty sure the babylonian captivity was 70 years, not 50. And thats very significant because daniel prayed for the jews to return to israel at the end of that time and that began under cyrus as the persians overthrew the babylonians.

Fantastic! The all-time, best selling book is read by few, so it's great that there are other sources that provide some more insight as to what is going on today. But... the book is always better than the movie; and though there is a lot of death and destruction, the ending is heavenly. Keep up the good work!

Great summary of the modern consensus version of Jewish history. The early history, gleaned from the writings of the early historians and of course, The Torah and the Pentateuch in the Bible, were complimented by the summary of the 19th and 20th centuries, which were documented by the modern press.
