Lenny is definitely one of those people who grew up in chaos and disfunction, so being around normal families/people with common courtesy is a culture shock for him, he’s like, “wait you guys eat meals together, that ain’t expired TV dinners
?!?! That’s a thing?!?!?!!” Lol😂

in respect to Ethan, and his money eating phase ( I am not sure to read it as a neurosis or political satire, so much food on the table and he eats money? that's not how you get nutrition)
I think the big twist at the end of the series, is that she goes out every night as a comic saying she is "mrs.maisel" joking about being a wife and mother, when she was never really either one, I mean she only becomes MRS. Maisel after the divorce

Btw they are called Maisel, to sound like Mazel tof, because they love giving speeches
