Mark 1:10-18 IDENTITY precedes ACTIVITY--- Jesus was focused on IDENTITY TRANSFORMATION not BEHAVIOUR MODIFICATION
JOHN 4:1-40 ---JESUS is our FOUNTAIN OF LIVING WATER--- he wants to meet us where we are --- be still --- know that HE IS GOD--- He loves you--- He desires you--- if one person can get HEALED in their FAMILY----

DIRTY WATER creates DEATH
FRESH WATER is essential for LIFE…
LIVING water is the ultimate life source for the soul and spirit

---JEREMIAH 2:13—NIV--- those who forsake the fountain of living water, will pursue broken cisterns that hold no water at all…
---CISTERN--- artificial manmade well --- rocks and stones cemented together to make the cistern---when it rained, the water collected there and served as a place for people to find water--- but when the masonry cracked the cistern was deemed dirty, worthless, and unusable--- pouring out dirty water--- // many people think their spouse is a broken dirty cistern—and so they leave or blame it all on them… leaky pots

-----REDEEMING LOVE----PREFACE--- GET THE BACKSTORY before you JUDGE the BHAVIOR--- everyone has a story that has led them to their current place--- when we love first, we judge less… JESUS ministered to the REAL NEED---not the surface level need---- SURFACE LEVEL HEALING, SURFACE LEVEL SATISFACTION---Jesus always moved past that…
!----- JESUS+NOTHING=EVERYTHING YOU NEED.

---John 7:37-38- On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.

----Revelation 22:17- whoever is thirsty- come for the free drink… be set free-

----JOHN 2:1-10 --- JESUS CHANGES THE WATER INTO WINE--- JESUS CAN CHANGE YOU TOO…

ALTAR CALL- God is thirsty for your heart- he wants all of you- He’s giving you and I an opportunity to shift the direction of our thirst- let Him sustain you, quench your thirst- He is enough- He has everything you need

-----Luke 13:10-17 she has no name- she has been labeled by her appearance—she’s bent over—the bible says she was crippled by a spirit—it had control over her body, her spirit, her --- what you suffer from does not define who you are--- YOU ARE NOT YOUR DIAGNOSIS--- what you SUFFER FROM is NOT WHO YOU ARE… --YOU are not an ALCOHOLIC--- you are a child of GOD… you are not a COCAINE ADDICT—you are a child of God…

This is so true. Below is a list of the first five things He told me after He gave me His Spirit.
1:You should stand up and give your check to Austin (Austin was an elder talking about year end finances)
2:you have eternal life.
3:you should bring some love from grace to covenant (help their church on Saturday’s)
4:what are you going to do if it pulls out? (A semi truck pulled out in front of me at the last second, no time to break, a car approaching, thanks for the warning I accelerated and had time to go around it and back into my lane.
5:you will shine as bright as your star.

One trick to beat road rage that a mentor told me long ago was to think about everyone's "preface" on the road before you start honking or cussing. Think about how bad of a day they might be having.
