It is a scene like this that 1) make the twist ending even greater because we initially think he is referring to what happened in Final Destination 1, and 2) the decent story and acting from this film and the actors make it the best of the franchise and ended it on a strong note!

What a waste of a great character. They should have made him so much more than just an unknown advise guy. I thought his character would grow later in the series. But because of bad writers, it didn't.

I like how this movie gives us more clear cut rules and the “kill or be killed” thing is more believable than “new life” introduced in Final Destination 2.

I wish he played a greater role.

I respect Tony Todd and the FD director, for having the self-restraint to say that Death doesn't have a human form. Some films are better off omitting what others are personally tempted to throw in there.

There would be less paranoia, fear, and fun if we knew what he looked like.

When you put what's best for the story ahead of your own personal preference, it's superb storytelling. I'd take engaging mystery over lame mystery any day.

tony Todd's character says that he's seen this before a lucky few survive a disaster and one by death comes for them but final destination 5 takes place before all the other films so who the hell is he talking about?

William is definitely an interesting character in this Franchise of how he literally appears trying to warn the main characters about cheating their demise.

William Bludworth he's death messenger he have all the knowledge on how beat death which is having a baby or killing someone to get their life as rules to beat death he know for a long time that if someone escape a disaster he knows soon death will immediately come for them all he can do is provide rules if you can't try and follow YOUR DEAD.

I think bludworth has experienced death when he was younger watching friends/family die while he survived and I think somehow his character continues to be able to cheat death himself maybe by through his profession.. maybe death spares him by cleaning up the mess.
