Sean I really appreciate that you do all your tutorials in Photoshop instead of Lightroom because I can take what I’ve learned and apply it to other applications.

I so appreciate how you break it all down & speak 'plain English' in your explanations! I've been applying the techniques from this series already!! And you convinced me to create my new website with Squarespace - thank you very much!

Been using the filters in Silver Efex for years. I used to help produce the image as I envisioned it. As far as b&w film, I have always been partial to Tri-X and still use on occasion today.
You did a nice job detailing your procedure as the comments indicate.

Thanks so much Sean! Brilliant like always. As someone who has been practicing for a while but am still not content with where I am in my own portraiture I would love to see a video from you about angle of light and light placement. With one light and a modifier and possible two lights. I love how you place the rim light right across the cheek. I know you are busy but just an idea. Thanks so much for everything you do.

Great series. I always learn so much from your videos, the technical ones like this one and the philosophical ones. Thank you. And your book is wonderfully inspirational.
