If some people have said you need load resistors, maybe you were seeing no issues because you had only replaced one light and the load was still there because they other light was still in place??
It'll probably work fine though.
But a nice upgrade.

I'm not surprised there are people like us out there who want to learn how to fix EVs for ourselves.🤓

Subscribed. You show her! <3
That's pretty cool. Can just imagine the confusion from other Zoe drivers thinking she has a ZE50.

Your videos are great.
Especially somethi g like this testing compatability of old & new lights.
Wish there had been a video when I facelifted the front of a 2010 Toyota Prius. Rear facelift Prius lights are a similar direct replacement on Prius

It works fine only when the hazard is on . When you do normal side signaling, it will falshes faster due to lower resistance of the circuit. You indeed need resistors.

Maybe worth upgrading mine at some point as do prefer the Zae50 lights wonder if the headlights are interchange, turn my Ze20 into a ZE50 😂 although the main upgrade I would love is CCS on my ze20

Apparently you need to place in resistors for it to work well in both lights (Saw 25W 6Ohm resistors being mentioned in the store reviews, though was a while since I last watched the video so would double check that is correct).
