Imagine your working collegue would get 1.5m for a week of work you only get 80usd per day. I would be so Thats like 8-10usd per hour and in this insdustry 10 hours of shooting a day or more is normal. And then People come up to you and say he is a bigger star and its all your fault that you earn 8-10usd per hour - i would smack him in the face. My aunty works as a cashier and she earns more than 10usd an hour.
This huge discrepancy shouldnt excist for fairly the same amount of work. Im not saying it should be equal, but it should be fair!!!

Wow... hands down she is the best. Michelle, you have altered a playing field that has been so unfair & unalterable for way too long. 💪❤

Star power equals leverage for your agent to negotiate. Don't like the offer then don't sign, called business.

Do better job looking over the contract before you sign. 🤷‍♂️

The biggest difference is Mark Whalberg asked, Michelle Williams didn’t.

There is no such thing as "equal pay" in the film business. You get paid what you are worth based on your star status. The other people in the film were FAR bigger stars than Michelle Williams. Why should she be paid the same?

It’s simply not true and now illegal in the UK. Mark is by far the bigger star hence more pay.

She says she didn’t know at the time. But she signed the contract. SMH

Equal pay is a myth. Earn the pay. Ask for the pay. Get the pay. Simple equation.

Have the same star power as mark and then fight for equality lol

It sounds like she didn't have a good agent. But in general you get paid based on how likely people will pay to see you in a movie or sport
