Adam Savage Reviews the NERF Aliens Pulse Rifle!

Adam unboxes and reviews the NERF Aliens M31-A Pulse Blaster, a replica of the Colonial Marines prop that actually fires darts! He couldn't be more pleased with NERF's rendition of one of his favorite science fiction film props, down to the electronic dart counter, battery-powered flywheel, and pump-action mega-dart launcher. And he can't wait to do a paint-up and weathering pass on it in the new year!

Adam is the big kid that lives in all of us.
I'm not a Nerf fan, I'm not even a huge Aliens fan but I want one of these to paint and weather. At least it's cheaper than those lovely uniforms that I'm surprised Adam wasn't wearing for this video.

I got one and my biggest gripe about it is that you can't buy additional magazines for it. It would be great to be able to buy a pack with an extra magazine, bullets, and (at least) one grenade.

Nerf did such a great job on this piece. I preordered as soon as it went live also. When I opened tha package, all I could think about is what the 12 year old me would have done had I received this as a gift. It would have been a treasured possession for sure. I got mine a few weeks ago, and I am glad to see that Adam Savage is as excited as I was when it came in. It brings me great joy to see another Aliens fan having the best day of their life with one of the coolest movie guns turned NERF.

I repainted mine, sold it on Ebay for $350. I bought two more, plan to paint them after the holiday. One to keep, one to sell. Sanding off the logos and text was much easier than I expected.
Huge props to Hasbro for making this affordable, easy to take apart and not gluing it together.
