GLP-1 mimetics are also under survaialance of pancreatitis. Current guidance states that they be stopped should a patient have suffered one episode of pancreatitis. In my clinic I elicit history of pancreatitis before perscribing in addition to the standard questionaire. Thank you Medicosis. as always, amazing!

what is the difference between taking these drugs and insulin ?
why we don't see this "revolutionary " results as they say with insulin treatment because the mechanism is the same ?
