Thank you a lot. I have yet to understand certain focal length means in video. Need to learn more. I am intrigued with 75mm though.

I've really appreciated your channel. The content you are creating has certainly helped me! I have two Panasonic G7s and their kit lens. I am a very amateur videographer who is looking to upgrade. I've been looking at 1 new lens to potentially film weddings without breaking the bank. Prices in Canada are usually at least $100 more than in the States. I narrowed it down to the 20mm or 25mm and with your help, I think the 20mm is the one for me. The image will look sharper, and will perform in low light

Great video. Lots of good information, but maybe you could list all the items you mentioned along with a link of where to get them. That would make it even better.

Nice vid. I sold my Llowa, seemed to work well on my GH5, but was seeing weird distortion around the edges on my GX85. If I was doing paid work I'd look at the Sigma, but for personal projects the Panny 12-35mm f/2.8 v2 cannot be beat. Dual I.S is amazing. Also have that Oly 75mm, one of my favourite lenses, such an amazing performer.

I bought a 40-150mm olympus zuiko lenses the small version not the huge one. I got a lumix g7 and I need a lense adapter. Which you recommend. Continue the good work

Hi there,
How do you fix the focus breathing on the sig 18-35mm f1.8

I appreciate the advice. Filming my first big job tomorrow, and aside from adequate lighting and correct white balance, the changing focal lengths gives me something to focus on. That, and to create movement in the shots where possible. I appreciate the tips, thank you . I’m renting the 10-25. I’m curious how you’d feel about it if it cost the same as the sigma. More reliable, more versatile, lighter, wider?!I hope I don’t miss the extra light too much...😬

10:34 to 11:12 was worth the entire price of this video... I stumbled across this video as I am researching lenses. I am new to the "mechanical" side of filmmaking; the cameras, the lenses, the editing software, etc., but feeling how right you are about that comment, makes me think you are likely to be right about the other things you are saying too.

Hey! I own a Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 EF + Metabones Speedbooster XL + GH5-S. And it's the only thing I use for the whole wedding, from start to finish. Also sometimes I need a ND filter, but I can actually shoot at f/1.1. It's quite difficult to nail focus pulling, but the results are amazing. At ISO 2000, I can go to f/4 at night, which it's amazing for parties or wide shots. The great bad thing is the weight. It's heavy as hell. That's how I got here, looking for something similar, but lighter.

Did I miss it? What body & lens did you use for this video?

I'll look for that laowa 7.5 .. I like the super wide... but not overdoing it.
Some youtubers overuse their GoPros.
Shooting that National Park sign needs to be tighter.

Love the video ❤ however, I think the video could be incorporated for all cameras and not just 4/3. Your video is the most genuine video. No other creator would tell you the truth.
