What do you think is the best looking small SUV?

Why are all reviewers obsessed with hard plastic. I'm not one for caressing the interior of my car.

I've never understood why anyone cares whether a car has "soft-touch" plastic in places where you never touch.

I own two of these, a 2019 and a 2021 and I agree with all of these comments! I call them my “grown up Swifts”. Quite zippy in the manuals, nice control. Great for city driving, parking as well as long distance runs. Love the Vitara!

I don't know why I'm still amazed that people can be as rude as they are making comments. If you don't like the car....fine. Why be nasty? Does it make you feel better about yourself somehow? It's just a car.

very very good report, I am an owner and you were totally right about all the comments you made ! I am extremely satisfied with my Vitara 1000cc even on the motorway, althoough the light steering and the struggle over 140km/h to accelerate! excellent idea by Suzuki small (1000cc) but big(112 hp), SUV but easy to park, very quick up to 130 km/h BUT ECONOMICAL, with big boot and great suspension!ARONA of the same price with 90 hp is much slower and doesn't feel like SUV but rather as an IBIZA...PLUS 7 years guarantee UNBEATABLE

My first choice in its class. I'm buying one. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Ugly or not it's a great, reliable value for money car. Each to their own. Good luck and best wishes.

I've owned two of them and the only thing I find annoying is the in-car road noise. Long trips would be so much more enjoyable with a bit more sound proofing.

Picking our 2018 Vitara this morning, a move up from our SX4, which has been a great car and never let us down.
Really looking forward to driving the Vitara and getting out and about !

None of the competitors offer are not SUV's. They are MPV's.

very pleased with all the Suzukis we have had. The reviews make me laugh, going into detail about things of no concern whatsoever to me.Wish I had had the engine in my MGTC all those years ago1

That's not how you change the volume Use its as a touch slider

Suzuki does not flatter you with soft plastics and deceive you with poor mechanical components like some rivals. Suzuki uses best quality mechanical components and that is why they are at the top in what car? Reliability surveys.

You slide the volume control up and down. I have the Vitara S and NEVER had an issue with the infotainment screen. Petty remarks from someone that has never used it properly. Thumbs down.

Why do all reviewers scratch the plastics inside the car ?

Every single review I've seen for this car, the reviewer complains about the touch screen system, we get it, it's dated, but it's easy enough to replace and at least it has Apple Car Play and Android Auto. It took Toyota years longer than everyone else and only then reluctantly to introduce these two into their systems. Not to mention complaining about the screen having no physical buttons and dials is stupid, when all of those controls are on the steering wheel, you shouldn't be fiddling with buttons and dials on a screen when driving anyway.

Good review overall, but can't help but feel you were pushing the SEAT Arona over this, as you kept mentioning it. But the key factor is that the Suzuki offers 4x4, whereas the SEAT Arona doesn't.

Didn't really mention the road noise issue even though that was one of the major complaints about the previous version. Fixed now or just an oversight?
