I wake up in the morning listening and watching you make sense. It sets me up for a day of watching the news. You make sense. The news doesn't. At the end of the day I watch you again. Then I can sleep knowing I have you to inspire me in the morning. I do that every day and every night. I'm almost 100 and still have all my faculties, thanks to you, Scotty.

Forgive me, Scotty. I didn't know your age. When I was your age, I had a hard time getting up and down when I had to. Way to stay young.

In the early 60's the guys towed a wrecked 1957 Chevy into our body shop on a Friday night. Those cars had air ducts inside the front fenders. The owner had run into a herd of sheep in the dead of winter, about 20 below zero (North Dakota). The guys put the car inside so it would be warm when the estimate was to be done. When the guys came in on Monday morning, they quickly shoved the car back outside. As it turns out, the ducts were full of sheep "parts" and had filled the shop with an eye watering aroma. Lesson learned. The car was disassembled out side a few days later when every thing had froze up again. Cold work, but still better the the alternative. I was 7 or 8 at the time and I still remember.

I'm glad you changed it up by working on a 4-wheeler rather than a car!

Wouldnt it be great if manufacturers had the foresight to to cover these openings with mesh to begin with

I'm laughing while I am writing this you said the dogs wouldn't be much help but they kept the clamp from getting lost 😂😂😂

I like to use those stainless steel mesh socks that fit over the washing machine drains and a worm clamp

Whats the temperature where Scotty lives? I live in Colorado and it's still getting up to 80°. Scott bundled up like it's in the 50s

It's ALWAYS a marvellous sight watching you work on things & encourages me to get things done myself.

I love the fatherly tone when he's fixing stuff for his kids. Mad as hell? Hardly.

For years every ATV I have owned the first thing I do is put a screen on the air intake. All my hunting buddies that don't sooner or later run into just what you did here. Some with major damage. I would suggest using aluminum screening. We have seen the critters chew through the fiberglass screen

Re: Dogs..."they don't have opposable thumbs, so they're kinda useless at fixin' things..." ..."Re the Belt: "The newer design has an automatic tensioner, I like the old ones better, Yeah it's automatic and it automatically becomes a pain in the butt and it automatically doesn't work as well..." - Classic Scotty observations!!! My best laughs of the day,

Hey Scotty, I have a 99 ford ranger with 317, 000 miles. Runs great but needs a rear main seal. I’ve tried the at205 seal but still leaks, would you spend the $ to have it fixed or would you go for a replacement engine ?!
