Animating In IBISPAINT!

Hello hello!
I am not proficient with animation but I find it fun sometimes! Some people have been telling me for the last few weeks to try out animating in Ibispaint! Next time maybe I will try paying to allow myslef to have a higher resolution! But for now I am using what is availabe from the FREE version of Ibispaint X! So here is Freminet!

Ibispaint impresses me sm, they keep adding amazing features

Things moving at different paces like wings, parts of hair and sometimes limbs we call "Overlapping action". Theres also "Follow through" which refers to parts of the body that keep moving after the main body has stopped. In this case, if you want to go for something more "accurate" looking, you could try having the hair move a bit more after the initial turn.
Also, it can be a lot easier to keep proportions the same if you animate the character as simply shapes first. Then you can add the details of the character on extra layers. Hope this helps a little! Absolutely love your artstyle btw, very cute

I love it, though its really unfortunate you need to pay money just to have a higher resolution. Ibis paint has never restricted such a big key feature to their app before. Ive been waiting for ibis to do animation for years and to see it present in this way is sad. I dont mind 2000 + width and height being locked. But just 1000 being locked is ridiculous :/ . I know they need to make money but locking MEDIUM QUALITY things behind a paywall is to much.

This is really good tho it judt worries me with how greedy ibis is getting

Here is some super secret info, that you didn’t hear from me…
What I do when animating(on ibis), is I do a normal drawing, not the animation one, the normal drawing one, then I make my animation, THEN, I DOWNLOAD THE PICS(NO WATERMARK WHEN YOU SAVE THEM) AND I PUT THEM INTO AN APP CALLED “CapCut” WHICH IS AN EDITING APP, AND I ADD THE PHOTOS TOGETHER, AND THERE YOU HAVE IT, AN ANIMATION, WITH 0 WATERMARK(YOU CAN DELETE THE CAPCUT WATERMARK) AND ITS PROBABLY 10X THE WORK IF YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE THAT CAN DO IT, BUT I DID IT WITHOUT, NOW PRAISE ME

What patience to do all that process, I love your work and patience. It's usually complicated to paint since the light changes with the movement, but you have good knowledge about this. The truth is that I don't like the update of IbisPaint for animation since your animation would be perfect if there was use of timing, but it has the necessary and I see it cool to entertain.

I would recommend making the frames per seconds higher if your going for smoother animation but you can use whatever frames per second you feel comfortable with, but i still love the finished product!
