Mopar or no car! Finally a Mopar video from this awesome guy. I’ve e seen one of these driving around my town occasionally, huge lifted, driver probably has to climb the tires to get in lol

One of my Friends owned it from new, the Bed was starting to fall apart Michigan salt, he had plan on restoring it and I moved to MO 22 years ago .

In 1981 a man from Dublin, Ohio went tractor pulling in the then new Two Wheel Drive truck class. Tube frame with a big, supercharged V8. He used Keith Black Hemi power and put a Dodge D-50 mini truck body on it, painted it red and called it Wayne Rausche's Little Red Truck, in honor of these sweet little stepsides. The 70s had the LRE, 1980s had the 1989 Shelby Dakota (which I have), 1990s were the Indy Ram and SS/T, and the 2000s were the SRT10 Ram

They actually had 2. The Lil red express truck and the Warlock. The Warlock had a 440 magnum and came in black or silver.

I remember, as a kid seeing these when they were new. As a matter of fact I just seen a kinda rough looking one. It was a little smoky but seemed to be pretty good running.

Fun fact those double stack headlights were only on the 78-79 dodges and are pretty sought after by dodge enthusiasts

But the did make a Big Block version called the Midnight Express that had the 440 but wasn't as fast.

Fun Fact: the E58 360 4v was the police package engine, it wasn't just a 360 with a 4bbl.

I saw one of these get crushed because the mechanic shop got flooded, Insurance paid the owner of the truck and the mechanic shop disposed of all of the vehicles. It was in great shape.
