Pop it out, figure out what's catching, and sand it down! 3d prints, especially lower quality ones, can require some hand fitting.

Give the area a nice couple of spritzes of Armor-All. It lubes that plastic-to-plastic contact wonderfully.

They do, in fact, have tens of thousands of those door handles in a factory.You can replace every part of that vehicle with a brand new part from a factory. You can even buy a brand new Delorean in Houston, Texas.

Sandpaper. I work with a lot of 3D printed parts that need low tolerances and a good sanding of all edges usually helps things slide along
