I don't typically use a top handle on the ground but it is indeed a good chainsaw.

I have this saw in my gardening business it is awesome saw I have 24 batteries. But I believe the xgt top handle is lighter and has little more power. If I was starting out on a new battery system I would probably go the xgt 40 volt top handle saw.

Your stihl 201T? Is 35cc.
Makita is equal to 32cc. So little slower.

We use a few sthil 194 saws at work. They're never quite right and not good to begin with. Their ms 201T is very good though.
