Anyone on the fence - Fez is worth the money. trust me. Amazing soundtrack, great attention to detail (animations wise, sound, critters walking around) and great, total sense of pure exploration. There is a friendliness to the game in both its visuals and mechanics, and it's sharp as a tack in the gameplay department, but the best part is that it finds its identity by being simultaneously eerie and creepy. There is a sense of loss in the game, but it's never seen.

TLDR - buy the game.

The map is incredible when you look at the physics engine with it.
This guy could never make a map nearly as good as this one.

yeah but this game was in development since super paper mario came out, so i don't know if the idea came from that.

The game never hard crashes, there are scripted moments where the game breaks the 4th wall and pretends to crash but thats about it, also the level design is perfect, it had to be for the game to function properly, you're probably just bad at the game. ;)

I had it freeze during the fake crash scene at the beginning of New Game+, ironically enough. Just because you have two arms, doesn't mean there aren't any amputees in the world.

I am. It's just the block moving puzzles that cause it. They're pretty glitchy and annoying. One of them, I solved by accident and it didn't need to make sense.. overall the game is pretty sweet, though.

Fez looks like a ton of fun, it is taking so long to come out though.

if the puzzles aren't explained or even slightly hinted at basically leaving you with the daunting task of learning an entire new language and decoding and deciphering then yes you can complain actually

Yes, the industries that are only concerned about taking your money. When you are an employee you are instructed to be polite to virtually everyone, because some people will get offended by just about anything, and that would make you lose buyers. A lot of indie devs don't need to worry about it, because it's not about the profit, people who like your game will play it, and those who don't won't, and if you can live with the money you get from that then it's ok. It doesn't make you immature.

Finally played it on vita. Ive got 40 cubes and have seen the first ending. But i dont feel like continuing, ive played it for 7 hours or something, and now all there is left is the frustrating puzzles, ive solved some, and some are fun, but the real draw for me was the first hours spent with the game, i wanted it to just be a platforming collecting game, now i instead leave with a mindset of "ow that couldve been so good" but the ways the puzzles are made is just not fun. Even if you learn the language and the crypt thingies. Theyre just so hard to read and when i know how to solve someting but the game is pushing me away anyways i just want to put it down. But i absolutely loved the first few hours.

BOTH!If you can't afford both it really depends on what style of game you prefer, as a puzzle/platformer FEZ is brilliant, as an overthetop physics based motorbike game TRIALS EVOLUTION is also brilliant(even though I prefer the original Trial Hd)you can't go wrong with either.
