@schooner2000 We were not using the 5.8ghz reciever built into the Fat Shark Goggles. We had two 900mhz video RXs. One for the monitor and one for the goggles. We will definitely keep making FPV related videos. There is a lot to cover! The goggles are really great!

@schooner2000 We always power the FPV equipment off a seperate battery to keep it clean. We used a Turnigy 500mha 3S.

Great review! Josh's snarky comments are funny. For future flights in windy conditions I would recommend putting a gyro on the roll axis. The plane got batted around quit in some parts.

My review is a contrast to yours. I bought this plane after this review and watching several others as well. I set my'n up with mocked up weight of mobious, emerson 800mw transmitter, battery warning/voltage buzzer (mounted external), UBEC, 5000Mah battery, 55amp Hobby Kings Airplane ESC (externally mounted), receiver, APM, GPS, lost plane siren. CG recommendations of 100-120mm from leading edge of wing from manufacture and then Hobby King Tech help telling me it was actually 102mm from leading edge. Motor recommended at "Turnegy 3536/1400kv" with 10X7 three blade pusher. All functions double checked at preflight inspection. We also installed just ahead of CG a light weight landing gear with 2.5" foam tires with plastic wheels. All balanced perfectly @ the 120mm from leading with slight nose down. Lifted off with only 25 yards of strip. We made four terrifying circles around the field the whole while feeling like I was flying a terribly non-areodynamic  brick that was threatening crash the entire time it was in the air. Very tail heavy even with CG being addressed prior to flight. Could not pull back on throttle or plane would return to tail stall. Got plane high altitude and put into gentle dive with power to see if it could be resolved with airspeed, and this made it worse. As I was already on final to field, I continued gentle dive aiming towards field, ( I set this up with three position flaps threw mixing on the 9X), and went to flap position #1 then to two and she began to slow and regain some control, settled in for landing and flared slightly the left wing tip made contact and she winged over and around to stop. This crash was very slow but in the wrecking and spinning around it snapped off entire tail, complete with all the three inches of penetration into the back of the fuselage. Very not happy with all that has transpired with this plane. HK is not sympathetic. This is not my first plane by any manner of speaking. Planes wing lead is extremely blunt and not airo-dynamic at all. It is straight and a performance wing, where a Dihedral would have a better application here for a stable slow forgiving FPV platform. I have respected and follwed alot of what you guys say about a given product, but will have to disagree with your assumption of this plane as I find it crude and unforgiving as a FPV platform, and is a poor recommendation by you fellas, , , In my opinion.

I too am very anxious to see a review on the camera/Tx gear. There is a lot of debate out there on what frequency is best, and what to worry about with general interference as well as airplane and video compatibility issues. I hope you cover all the bases. I'll be putting back some cash for that plane and camera system, or would 1.3mhx be better, or 2.4, or HAM band???? ugh.
