Assetto Corsa - Toyota 86 MC GT300 2023 1.0 Mod [RELEASE]

The GT86 is a car that no one could dislike. This mixed with Super GT; Something truly special. I had the honor to work with plenty of helpful people with this one! With the power of an expert who was member of a team that used the 86 MC before, I felt like I would commission somebody who understands physics much better than me - This is how I asked ChemFlummi to do the handling, along with the former team member who provided us very valuable information and feedback about this Dome Chassis gem.

I think the car is a nice all-rounder except for one thing: the sound. I would say don't blame me because I only hear with one ear properly but to be fair I was never good with fMOD and for the life of me I could never understand how people take samples from fly by videos that are showing the cars running right next to the camera for like 0.5 seconds (show me tutorial how you do race car sound pls).
A broken headset also doesn't help much lol
So consider this sound a placeholder. The best I can do is listing all the cars I think sound similar or actually share the same VK45DE engine with the 86 MC GT300:
- Nissan GT-R GT500 '08
- Nissan 350Z GT500
- Oreca 07
- Ligier JS P2
- Zytek Z11SN
(Just type in VK45DE in Google and I'm sure you can find even more examples, I would recommend the sound of the Ligier JS P2 mod by ACFSK.)

This car is mainly based on team Machsyaken's version of the 86 MC (with the exception of the interior mainly dominated by UpGarage references), including the aero, the skins (obviously), and the technical mumbo-jumbo.
Of course I have included plenty of CSP goodies to make the car look as good as possible, at least I want to believe it looks nice with my current modding & modeling & material management skills.
I am really glad that this car is racing to this day so with the provided information I hope we created something nice together! Here's for more years for the 86 MC GT300, a legend on the grid of Super GT!

Are you like me who likes the unnecessary details in the interior? You can get the air jack back in the interior by removing its lines in the ext_config!

I'm sure I will get this mod updated, so be sure to report all the bugs, oversights and inaccuracies you find (I am aware of the legs of the driver, I stole the position form a Kunos car, because creating animations for the driver in Blender is NO GOD PLEASE NO)! If you are doing skins for the UpGarage or Hoppy cars let me know because I have the aero and light meshes of those cars as well.
