Quinton “Rampage” Jackson was a former UFC champion, hysterical personality, and cataclysmic knockout artist who handed out naps like candy.
Rampage made a name for himself in Pride FC, where over 17 fights, he earned 9 knockouts, with victories over names like Kevin Randleman, Murilo Bustamante, and Chuck Liddell.
Rampage did fail in 2 title shots to Wanderlei Silva, but in 2007, transitioned to the UFC, immediately knocking out Marvin Eastman in round 2.
One fight later, he got a first round knockout over Chuck Liddell to become the lightheavyweight champion.
And he earned 1 title defense over Dan Henderson, before losing his title to Forrest Griffin.
But he rebounded to go on a decent 4-1 run, with victories over Wanderlei Silva, Matt Hamill, and a loss to Rashad Evans.

Rampage was the man back in the day. That powerbomb knockout is one of the classics. Had so much power in his fists he even gave Jon Jones nightmares 😂. He’s also the reason the UFC will never do another promotion vs promotion event or send their fighters to take part in tournaments. Knocked out Liddel after Dana sent him to Pride to take part in their tourney after Dana talked mad shit about him having the best fighters on the planet.
