But not all soldier raided the (capital) city. some divisions got the task to serround the city so that the western allies (America, canada and great britain) didnt capture the city. Why the soviets dont wants that?Because in the eastern front (germany vs the soviet union) the red army (nickname of the soviet military) had suffered heavy casulties on the front and to boots the mirale they wanted to capture the capital city (and hitler but he commited suicide in the "furher bunker on 30 april 1945). So thats the reason why this isnt berlin. But what is true that the hitler jugend (a scout club for kids but in the reality they get brainwashed there) helped to fight against the allied power. aswell the people who were a member of the burger sturm. and if you was a member of those 2 clubs, there was no way back when you got deployed. If you fleed the front, then the SS (elite para military from germany who was first in row at the holocaust) would hunt tou and execute ypu for desertion ( what means fleeing military service).
