I am a Tennessean and seeing people from out of state come into my home to get involved in our politics makes me very angry.

Almost everyone who lives in this state is very pro-gun. This is the volunteer state. We have sent more volunteers to every war ever, so we are filled with veterans who take their oath to the Constitution very seriously.

The only way we will EVER get strict gun laws here is if those laws are written by people who don't live here.

Keep local politics local.

We had the exact same thing happen in Virginia in 2020. Was a Democrat majority and despite 50K people showing up with the VCDL and 90% of the counties against it, the Democrats didn't care and passed red flag laws. Hang in there Tennessee and don't let it happen to you. Elections have consequences.

Thank you for your work in Tennessee. We have been abandoned by our governor and many Tennesseans aren’t even aware of how our rights are being trampled in response to a massacre that our same governor says the motives and manifesto are too dangerous for us to know… and that we should take him, on his word, that the rights of law-abiding people should be trampled to hopefully hinder the actions of murderers, whose motives are too dangerous for us to understand. With all the progress we have made in our great state, in terms of recognizing our Constitutionally protected gun rights, I never dreamed that we would even consider such foolishness.

The folks in the anti-gun industry are being well paid. Not as much as lawyers who defend unconstitutional laws. Many of them might be giving kickbacks to statehouse anti-gun lawmakers.
Why would anyone pass an unconstitutional law? To get on TV? Or get some Cash money for retirement?
