2022 MG HS Black non responsive centre console display fault

In recent weeks, my 2022 MG HS has had issues with the centre console screen turning black and also crashing/restarting whilst driving.

This issue may possibly be related to Android Auto as I have my phone plugged in and using Android Auto service - note, the same device has no issues in other vehicles so it is not a mobile device fault.

The most serious of the issues occurred when pulling out of a junction whilst indicating right, my entire dashboard and centre console crashed, went dark, showed the MG logo and rebooted as if turning the car on initially from an off state. Indicators also stopped.

5-10 minutes later, the centre console crashed and did not recover. This video is taken after returning home on this trip. Obviously, my phone is unplugged and recording so Android Auto is not necessarily a cause.

I have MG model ZS and suddenly started having the same problem. From the outside the car looks really good. From the inside it's comfortable and has a luxury feeling. All this is until you start driving. I can't tell how much I regret selling my beloved Dacia Duster 1.3TCE Prestige and getting one of these, I miss my Duster so much 😓

Ive had same issues with my hs as well as so many more issue i have had car 6months and new issue arise every week . i returned car and have gone with something else as car stop working and broke down hs looks good but thats where the good ends
