Sailing the Hebrides: Zuma in the Small Isles

This is a video account of a sailing trip made in Zuma - a Jeanneau Fantasia - through the Small Isles of the West Coast of Scotland. The music is from a range of excellent you tube sources. I have sampled from "Bring me a Boat" by the one and only Kate Rusby; a remarkable cover of the intro to Mike Oldfield's "Ommadawn" by
Adrián Gómez Cano; a brilliant live version of "Far from Home" by Cherish the Ladies; Sarah Darlings extraordinary cover of Tom Petty's "Wildflowers"; The exquisite "Dalmore" by Amarokard; The "Time" theme from "Inception" by Unlimited Piano. I don't own this music but am in awe of those who composed and played it. I use it in the hope that others may also enjoy it. In the spirit of you tube I grant permission for anyone to use the video track and any of the sounds I recorded for their own purposes.

Great video and thanks for sharing. In fact, we played it twice! Julie and I are taking early retirement in 2017 and hope to be on the west coast of Scotland during the 2018 season so great to see what potentially lies ahead for us! A Happy New Sailing Year to you both!

Another fantastic video Charlie it looks like you had a great season. I'm envious you have so much time to sail, Jacqui and I only have 3 or. 4 days in a row so we are limited as to how far we can go. The Scottish Sailing & Cruising Club have a few events planned this year including a flotilla to Ireland maybe I'll bump into you at one of those.

Another nice video. I was in Dunstaffnage at the end of WHYW hiding from the wind. I think I was back in Tarbert when they shut the canal due to too much rain though. I;ll look forward to seeing you this year if you make the SCS Western Isles meet. Yacht Seminole.
