In mathematics, the Taylor series is the expansion of a function as an infinite sum of increasing powers of x (a + a'x + a''x^2+ a'''x^3 +.......). The arbitrary constants are determined by finding higher-order derivatives, substituting x=0, and equating the coefficients.
