do you have to do anything to stop brake fluid coming out of abs pump when you remove pipes or does it just drip out only thanks

Hi, I have swift mk2 2011 model. I have a same issue. When I press the pedal for emergency brake, car sliding and front of car goes to right and crashed a car a whilea ago. Yesterday I faced same issue and I was lucky and god save me I guess. I stopped with hand brake, there was a gap almost 10cm between cars. It was scary moment. Do you think that I can change the abs pump by myself without draining the brake fluid first ? Or Do I need to drain first the brake fluid in the system ?

For the LIFE of me I cannot remove those white clips. There's so little room and I managed to get it up a teeny bit but when I tried to use pliers to pull them the clips were chipping off tiny bits.... =(
