The precision and power of that towering crane as it moves massive materials are truly impressive. Its ability to lift and position heavy loads accurately showcases the incredible advancements in heavy machinery.

This is almost unwatchable, so many errors and repeated statements with wrong footage.

Expert here, I want to debunk all the misinformation in this video:

0:46 - Poor start, I expect the top 10 fastest LSR vehicles to be in order, this car doesn't even count in the top 10. Also wrong photo I believe.
3:36 - Wrong footage, showing bluebird K7 and not CN7.
4:09 - More K7 footage
4:17 - Boloo?
4:27 - Showing Wingfoot Express 2 and not 1. Wingfoot Express 2 never set the record
4:34 - Talking about Tom Green while showing Craig Breedlove
4:47 - Showing Spirit Of America and not Wingfoot Express
5:15 - Repeat of information
5:25 - The way he says this information, very well the car may have gone from 3 to 4 wheels in design, however the Wingfoot Express 1 was 4 wheeled and the Wingfoot Express 2 was 3 wheeled as the pictures show
5:37 - Showing old footage which debatably isn't green monster, at least the one that took the records
5:50 - Showing Wingfoot express 2 which never set the record
5:51 - Together the brothers actually held the record 4 times between 1964 - 65
6:18 - Pretty sure the engine had a 2 stage afterburner not 4 stage
6:23 - Repeated
6:52 - Not even wrong, just really rude, seriously? Craigh Breedlove?
7:04 - Showing SOA Original not Sonic 1
7:13 - "Final Sonic 1 configuration in Sonic 1" ?
7:20 -Showing SOA Sonic Arrow not Sonic 1
7:39 - Not the first and it had 4 wheels
7:41 - "Jett"
7:52 - Wrong engine picture
8:14 - Wrong footage, also he did not set a record at that speed, he simply crashed at that speed
8:18 - "Formula Shell LSRV" is another name for Sonic Arrow
8:37 - Horsepower was closer to 35, 000
8:47 - Hate to say it but the record was held for just under 13 years
9:26 - Gabe e lick
9:30 - I might be wrong but I think the peak speed was closer to 630mph, at least over the kilometer
10:29 - Repeated
11:22 - Wrong footage
11:58 - Repeated
12:23 - Repeated
12:25 - The F4 aircraft apparently uses the J79, not Spey 202

Top 10 actually goes:

1. Thrust SSC - Driver: Andy Green
2. Thrust 2 - Driver: Richard Noble
3. Blue Flame - Driver: Gary Gabelich
4. SOA Sonic 1 - Driver: Craig Breedlove
5. Green Monster - Driver: Art Arfons
6. SOA Original - Driver: Craig Breedlove
7. Wingfoot Express 1 - Driver: Tom Green
8. Bluebird CN7 - Driver: Donald Campbell
9. Railton Mobil Special - Driver: John Cobb
10. Thunderbolt - Driver: George Eyston

Informative notes:

- Bloodhound LSR has yet to set any record and has not gone 1000mph, only 628
- The Budweiser Rocket is not on this list as it never set a LSR and stop saying it broke the sound barrier, it didn't

The wrong photos, videos and timeline as stated by previous viewers is disappointing. Incidentally, RIP Craig Breedlove who passed away 4/4/2023.

I was there to witness the land speed record and the sonic boom in 1997. It was more of a thud than a boom. I was proud to witness that happen in my beloved Nevada! Love the Black Rock of past.

Good footage, but the editing is a hash up. Wrong images for particular machines.

Very interesting information. Thanks for letting us know where some of these Hot Rods are located. 👍

The first 3 minutes were quite pleasing, but after 10 minutes i realized my IQ dropping.

You often show clips of vehicles that are NOT the ones being discussed! This ruins what might otherwise be an interesting video!

Richard Noble is a legend. All those drivers/pilots are.

A completely unprofessional production where the vehicles shown do not always match the LSR timeline and the details have been poorly researched. It should be withdrawn to preserve integrity if there's any justice!

Wow. I am sitting here looking at the shrine I built to Crag Breedlove as an American Hero only to see video of him overdubbed as Walt Arfon's. I have nothing but mad respect for not only the Arfons Brothers, but any and all LSR Vehicles, racers and teams. But for the sake of those of us who know better, do a little bit of research. Please. This is our world history you are messing up. And to quote John Belushi "Bluto: What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!"

Neither excellent OR informative. Too many errors and wrong footage.

You purposely left out the Budweiser river car. The rocket car reached 731.9 mph. Just because the speed was unofficial. And because Stan Barret is openly a Jesus follower doesn’t mean that this rocket car and the speed run didn’t exist. And just because people hated Stan Barrets open stand for Jesus doesn’t change that it happened. If you don’t want to include this car, than do not include the Blue flame car. The Blue flame record was removed from the record book because like the Budweiser car, it was a rocket car.

I can see why the enthusiasm to go 1, 000 MPH on land is kind of waning after the benchmark of the speed of sound has been broken.

These days with full authority digital active suspension and aero you could probably go astoundingly fast. True of an adaptation to water speed as well.

Of course we also now have controls to test them extensively without wetware in the cockpit.

The Spirit of America-Sonic 1 had needed some wind tunnel time - big choke point between the front wheel housings.

Kind of a mixed up wad of information. Pictures were mixes of Craig Breedlove's, the Arfons Brothers', and Richard Noble's with mixes and repetitions of audio information to the point that someone who hadn't followed LSR attempts over the years would be quite confused.
