This was such an unexpected update!! It gives me some hope that Cockos will show some love to the UI this year, maybe? 🤩

I use thousands of envelopes in my project. This is one of the nicest updates in a while for me.
Shift+Left-Click on the envelope button opens the envelope Manager by default. I think I‘ll keep it on a shortcut though.

06:22 This means that envelope manager will open when you click on the Envelope button on a track TCP (instead of just opening the envelope window for this track). You want this active for sure. 😉
The only diff is that track envelope window autokill when focus is lost, and envelope manager stays open.

Wow, this is gonna be a nice QOL improvement and definitely gonna make new users not freak out whenever they see the envelope manager for the first time.

Thanks Alejandro. Simple and well explained as usual. I'm not using that much enveloppe manager, so it would have take time to me to discover this. I think this new design will make me go deeper into enveloppes use.

envelope manager similar to track manager or region manager is a really logical step forward,
I can only imagine it's a step towards reasonable FX chain automation with branching stuff?

Hey great review, can we get a video which shows what each of your toolbar icons are for? You've got some of the cleanest looking toolbars out there and looks very interesting function wise as well

I think I'll be using this window more with this overhaul! The one thing I currently wish it had was the ability to default to everything BUT the main track envelopes collapsed.

i kinda still just use last touched item option cuz things like Vital Synth still have too many automation buttons, it's in the drop down menu, i thought that was a bit odd but it works

but alejandro... opening the envelope window and having an aneurysm is quintessential to the reaper newcomer experience! we should not deprive them of that!

jokes aside WOW that is a breath of fresh air. the way it looked before made ZERO sense.
