When it comes to fashion, it’s accessories that I often care about the most. So in today’s episode I’m sharing six summer accessories that are perfect for now and for the coming months.
I've always loved accessories because they take a simple outfit from drab to fab in an instant, they will always work regardless of whether you change your size or shape and they’re generally a more affordable way to update your look too - especially for summer, when you're trying to wear as little as possible to handle the heat.
While designers sent many accessories down their S/S 2021 runways, there's always a few standout options that translate well into people's wardrobes. Sometimes something may look right on a model or in a fashion magazine but may not fit well for everyday attire, even if you do have an "out-there" style. So today, I've rounded up a few summer trends that are worth giving attention to now.

I got a white hand-crocheted phone shoulder bag from a street vendor, who made it herself, for $15. It’s the perfect soft, comfy little phone case. I live in a three-story house, so when I’m waiting for a call, my phone always seems to be on the wrong floor! So, I carry my phone around in it at home when I need to, or use it for a wattle bottle on a walk. The white goes with everything in my wardrobe.

Not only does it allow for fun customization but as a full time student who also has a job I love the idea of throwing on a cute hat instead of spending a half hour in the mirror doing my hair every morning! I love a good bucket hat. My mum had an Emilio Pucci floppy bucket hat in the 1970s; I'd love to know what happened to it!! Now I come to think of it, she also had an YSL belly chain belt which she wore over her cool dresses. No idea what happened to any of those great pieces. Knowing the mindset of people in the 60s and 70s probably ended up in the bin...absolute sacrilege!

I bought a pair of green crocks wearing them when gardening usually but one day wore it to the playground and a 5 year old asked me “why are you wearing those shoes”!! Hehe

Great video Leonie! Looks like now I'll be shopping for a cool, whimsical hat. I have the white sandals in 5:24 and love them I also own two Birkenstock Madrid style sandals in metallic colors. My problem with large totes is that they end up heavy to carry with so much stuff I throw in them, so super large ones are not for me. And I've given up on tinted sunglasses because I get tired of how much they change the color of what I see.

When they first came out remember my daughters hubby and I all wearing different coloured crocs to the beach or park. They never break and wear them around the house as slippers. Totally passe and unstylish as well as sandals and socks in my opinion.
In my bikini days wore a thin gold chain around my midriff and still have gold chain belts worn with dresses jeans and trousers.
Luv hats totes fun phone accessories and sunglasses.

Always worn hats, love them, especially vintage ones.
Definitely comfort above all. I can’t do socks with sandals. Lol
Doc Martens and Birkenstock are so comfy worth the investment .
I prefer the mini phone, I don’t care for accessories for my phone.
Love over sized sunglasses and nerdy eye glasses, always been a vibe.

I've always been a comfy shoe wearer. The belts, oversized purses, 70's sunglasses and fun hats are just that fun!
