Thanks. My wife doesn't know how to use this so when she's cold she disables the A/C by just turning the temp ring to full 90 degrees. This was throwing off all of the algorithms. LOL! Followed your instructions and now we're all at peace !

Gracias. Our thermostat is behind a door, so Nest never thinks we are home and the thermostat goes down to 60! We live in Nebraska, USA (COLD winters) so we have been freezing since install because of this irritating feature. I see the vision Nest had, but turns out I'm a finicky human, so I want to figure out my ideal heat on my own. So glad to find this video and solve our problem!

I had disabled the Auto Learn feature through the app on my phone, but the Nest continued to change temperature rapidly.

You showed that I ALSO need to reset the history of the thermostat (Nest Actual) Auto-Learn on the unit itself. The message boards I researched I did not see this step, and it is imperative.
