I give you the 25 best tips for Honkai: Star Rail when it releases! I played through the beta and the release of Genshin Impact, and I learned so much new information that I wanted to share with you all before you start!

Summary:
1. Save fuel (trailblazer power). It’s a rare resource. It’s like resin.
2. Do not rush progression. Enjoy the game.
3. Use stellar jades correctly, esp. on limited banners. (Don’t use premium currency on standard banner)
4. Pick a direction early and stick with it. Don’t spread yourself too thin.
5. Reputation system. Trade regional currency for extra materials.
6. Get the chests in the region.
7. Do the side-quests if you have time. May need to talk to NPCs.
8. Do daily missions.
9. Don’t forget character traces.
10. Don’t underestimated weakness breaking.
11. Utilize the 3 free four-stars.
12. Don’t underestimate assignments. Can get items. Passive item gains.
13. Do the events.
14. Do the weeklies. These help you get materials and lvl up.
15. Don’t level pointless sh*t. Don’t waste items on characters you won’t use.
16. Use up fuel correctly. Use lingering trailblazer power on getting character lvl up material, credits, or light cone material. You’ll need them later anyway.
17. Do Forgotten Halls. Lucid afterglow can get you 5-star light cones.
18. Simulated universe (weekly grind). They have good rewards like free 4-stars. You get 2 free artifacts. Do these early.
19. Increasing character level as you increase your world level. Have a team that has a maxed out level.
20. Collect everything.
21. (End-game) build one or two characters at a time. Grinding artifacts takes a lot of time. Main dps first, then main healer second.
22. Elemental coverage is important. Get a few decent characters for each element.
23. Operation briefing (adventure guide) gives you a lot of EXP. Do this after your daily play.
24. Understand combat mechanics and interactions. Understand terms, weakness breaking, etc.
25. Pre-farming. Keep yourself updated with the game - follow their social media (twitter, ig, youtube, etc.)

So, I'm a one day player in Genshin and I made a lot of mistakes at the beginning. After the third account everything was perfect. I think you should farm relics when you reach max level to get the golden relics, similar to genshin.

I am bent on resource-saving, so I'm not of a mind to spend fuel...but then again, I'd end up with 200+ condensed resin like in Genshin, so I'd love to hear more about what would be considered good spending practices. Like a reddit user once pointed out: "what are you guys saving so much food and resin up for? genshin impact 2?"

Obviously teammaking is going to be an important early video if (when) you have the chanxe. Ideally heavily focused on those with like 1 5* (or none) to build around, leading to “goal teams”.

A tier list for trace. You rate how important each trace is to lvl up. Start with the f2p characters and then all the other for whale.

just remember that the 300 to pick a standard 5 star CAN ONLY BE CLAIMED ONE TIME. once you hit the 300 you wont be able to try and hit 300 again you will just be stuck with 90 pity so if you hit the 300 you might want to save it to see if a new standard 5 star that you want gets added especially f2p players
