*Class I* trailer hitch is 2000 lbs (~910 kg)
*Class II* trailer hitch is 3500 lbs (~1590 kg)

Most cars in North America the size of Model 3 will have a *Class I* trailer hitch given the option. I don't think Tesla took into account that in the EU and elsewhere, people tend to tow larger loads with smaller vehicles.

Finally!!! I book my Model3 in Thailand. It'll ship from UK. Now I'm so exciting because it'll be the first RHD Model3 in Thailand.
Importer Told me, it'll arrived at July.(June In UK and 1 month for ship to Thailand)
But I didn't book with Sharenovation Because I'm Confuse between another importer. I think them the same owner and It make me a little worry. LOL
My Friend tell me, You're very brave.(I think so hahaha) Because it haven't service center in Thailand and price is very expensive.(Long Range about 115, 000$ T_T)
FYI: Import car Tax in Thailand is very expensive.

We dont have different licenses here in Australia for towing. It is something that we do need tho. Many accidents happen with caravans because the people don't know how to drive while towing something heavy.

I took the B96 certificate when I bought a Mercedes GL, which together with my Max 1000 kg Trailer gave a total weight of 4250 kg of Mercedes +trailer, and which is excactly limit for B96.

Most people do not need more than a B96 certificate.

I believe I will order a Tesla 3. 910 is OK for most of my use.

We can put on a rack for 3 or 4 bikes or maybe one electric scooter, that is very practical and convenient, all this with the roofrack makes the car very appetible maybe one day !!!

For the record, there are aftermarket hitches for the Model S and Model 3. That wouldn't include the towing mode software, though. They also cost a lot more than checking the option box when ordering. If you need one after the fact, though, they do exist.

Sometimes it‘s great to be 42 years old and having an old drivers license. I am allowed to drive a „car“ up to 7.500 plus a trailer with a combined weight of 12.000. As I am towing a heavy camper with a heavy car I would be in trouble with a modern drivers license :)

910 kg is a joke. I am just driving a Dacia Lodgy, a very cheap van, but it can tow 1400 kg.
There will be soon the production of the Sion from Sonomotors, can tow 750 kg,
but this is an only 25, 000 EUR electric car.
