The woman sitting to the far left looks ANGRY. I’m guessing not a trump supporter. 😂

Though posted 3 days ago, this is a very old recording in that Trump was still President Elect.

When choosing between two criminals, you choose the tax evader over the murderer.

Hmm, you know what? I'm going to refrain until I watched the video. Be back later

How quaint... how naive we all were back then. "It's his actions that will matter!" Four years later, he initiates an insurrection.

Trump is correct on the fundamentals.
1) we need to bring back and rebuild our manufacturing and industrial base
2) we need to be energy self-sufficient
3) we need strong borders. Immigration is a race to the bottom.

Guy in the end is correct. The rest of the world has already stopped taking America’s president seriously 😂

A breadth of views on this panel, left, right and center, all very intelligent individuals, ALL would be better presidents than Donald Trump. In fact, I would say there is probably 100m in he US that would be a better President that Donald Trump. I think I would rather have Fonzi than Trump, or maybe Al Bundy.

A better question would be “who would vote that failed to that year and who would change their vote if they had voted for him?” I am quite sure a lot of people would have gone to the polls if they had thought he would end up winning. This is the problem with anyone that is running and deemed a “shoe-in”. Being distasteful as Clinton was didn’t help but no sane thinking person believed he could win because he was such a bad joke. Joke was on us! Thank god people showed up out of fear to vote against however we need a candidate we can choose for what they bring to the table not to stop an idiot from destabilizing the world stage.

I wonder what this conversation would sound like today. Has Trump earned his alt right credentials?

I’m sure these academic intellectuals really asked this question in good faith. I’ll give a few reasons why we voted for Trump. 1. He seemed to be a results oriented person, not a discuss around a problem and fundraise to discuss a solution person. He seemed to care about results in regard to illegal immigration which liberal states are starting to wake up to in a minor way. He wanted lower taxes for people so they would have more pocket money, as opposed to leftist politicians who wanted higher minimum wage so they could tax a greater sum for themselves. He was for financial freedom, freedom of speech, and general liberty as exemplified during the pandemic. During which politicians enforced mandates while Trump was telling people it was up to their own personal choice to stay home or not. In 2019 Trumps economy was doing amazingly. Everyone was doing great financially while Democrats rioted and painted a picture of America being some dark days of endless evil. Until the pandemic when everyone was forced against their will to stay home and not work for two years, the country was doing better under Trump than under any president in thirty years, Clinton, Bush, or Obama.
Trump’s legacy is that period. 2019 was when America put its own future and well being first, as any sovereign nation should. It was when America was becoming great again. Many of us haven’t forgotten this and will put forth the true history until my last breath. He was the greatest president in the last fifty years and I’ll vote for him again because of that.

I am glad for that input. I continue to wonder about how these things came about. A strange misdirection. Who is going to jump off the cliff?
