US election 2024: Trump, Harris virtually tied in polls

The winner of the 2024 U.S. election could come down to just a few thousand votes, as the polls show Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are locked in a virtual tie.

Both candidates recently held rallies less than 100 km apart in North Carolina, one of seven swing states that are likely to decide the election.
