Audi R8 V8 Coupé (430hp) - pure SOUND (60FPS)

Xtremly LOUD and super-exquisite SOUND footage of a 2012 Audi R8 V8 featuring and sick active valve exhaust system (Klappenauspuff). Being totally stock other than that the car features the well-known 4.2 V8 FSI delivering 430 hp through quattro and a 6-speed manual transmission. Although not being the fastest super-car around the block this R8 amazes on every meter your drive it. Even compared to the V10 Spyder we reviewed last year this one is so much more super-car like as it has the deep V8 grunt and blistering exhaust scream unlike most other cars. The mid-engine concept and the "clicky" manual transmission are truly something special and bit "old-school". As this R8 will be driven by us more often in the future we also plan to release a series of additional videos on YouTube and more background stories on our Facebook page. it's so pleasant to hear a sports car with a manual gearbox it becomes so rare ! v8+exhaust+manual = eargasm .
Anyway it's difficult to be the fastest around the block nowadays ; so 430 hp is good enough (amply).

The era when R8 had 2 engine and gearbox choices. Those were the days man. But soon after 2023, I'm gonna have to say "Those were the days when we even have a R8 man."

The R8 V8, 6MT, is an underrated car. It might not be that fast, it might just be another car with the 4.2 FSI, it might understeer, but man this is proper GT material. Looks good, easy to drive, and sounds awesome.
