I like the big shallow. May I suggest you do a experiment on a low tech planted tanks, one with a plenum and one without. Love your work.

Try adding a complete layer of buce kedagang on the base of the hardscape.
It will create a new contrasting violet-ish layer between the green hc carpet and the stem plants in the back with those branches poking upwards...

I use 1mm bonsai wire to hang houseplants on the back rim of my tank. I wrap a bit of sponge around the stem before I wrap the wire around so the stem isn’t damaged.

I really liked the red cherry shrimp scape. The diversity of color and "texture" of the different plants seems understated but beautiful. The broad leafed plants in the midground look great in contrast with the dense carpet and the moss, like ferns in a temperate rainforest glen. The red in the back looks great, slightly muted but still a great contrast of color, like the onset of Fall and the changing leaf color that comes with it. The Cherry Shrimp contrast nicely, but also compliment and are complimented by the red in the back. I love this scape.

One of the red fish at 19:50 is not an ember tetra. Looks like a red neon blue-eye (Pseudomugil luminatus). Did you know?
My fave tank is actually the one in the window. It's really unique and natural, and it feels very alive. I suppose the plants will die or at least suffer from the algae, so it might not look as great for that long. The CPD river and the black water tank also stand out among your other great scapes.
