I had just recently started getting into photography beyond simple point and click. Maybe a month ago I was discussing something extremely similar to this with my sister. Only thing you didn't say was if the shutter for the flash is 1st curtain or rear. Looks like 1st in the video

So, this is basically just like slow sync speed photography. But, in shutter drag, the movement is made by the lens (and camera, of course), instead of subject/model in slow sync speed. Am I right?
