Chook laying an egg. This hen lives next door. We were looking after the two chooks while the owners were away on holidays.

I just got a hen about a month ago, Ruby, and since she got settled into her new coop she's laid 15 eggs in 16 days. Chickens are pretty cool!

This chicken looks just like one of my chickens. They all passed away a few months, and every time I see anything related to chickens, I get so sad because I miss them so much 😭😭
But I still really love chickens 🐓❤️ This video was so cool because my chickens never liked being watched when laying an egg. There was only one time that I watched one of my chickens lay an egg, but it was very quick because she was in that arching position, and that’s when the egg popped out! It’s so silly looking but absolutely beautiful 💙💙

I have 5 hens and they’re spoiled rotten. I love them to death. I lost one to a hawk but she is a reminder that all life is mortal and precious and that they will all be able to have natural deaths.
