Alberto Suastez, better known as PatinaworksArizona, is a patina artist and menswear enthusiast that has been a good friend of mine since we first crossed paths years ago in the dark halls of shoe Facebook groups.

When I stumbled across Alberto fully immersed in his patina thunderdome tunnel vision I knew it was the perfect chance to capture some great action shots of him in his natural environment of patinaing.

Can you please elaborate on a comment you replied to me once, but I never followed up to enquirer about? It was about Weatherproof leather, I own a pair of Hamilton Weatherproof Oxford Dress Boot, you said it’s not optimal kind of leather. What is weatherproof leather? And what makes it inferior?
