Sure the coil whine wasn't the power supply? When I plugged my 3090 in I got some really bad coil whine when playing certain games, thought it was the 3090, but ended up discovering it was my 1000 watt PSU. Changed PSU's and the whine was gone. I think the 3090 may just draw a ridiculous amount of power haha.
