"Conductor-in-residence" („Dyrygent – rezydent", 2014) is a short documentary film, commissioned by the Institute of Music and Dance (IMiT), written and directed by Maja Baczyńska, and devoted to four young artists: Rafał Kłoczko, Maciej Koczur, Krzysztof Kozakiewicz and Maciej Tomasiewicz, and their participation in the "Conductor-in-residence" programme run by IMiT.
The film records fragments of concerts and rehearsals held by the Arthur Rubinstein Philharmonic Orchestra, the Oskar Kolberg Philharmonic in Kielce, the Silesian Chamber Orchestra and the Toruń Symphony Orchestra.
The film also features interviews with the young conductors and other persons involved in the project.
The production has a Polish and an English language version.
