PLEASE NOTE THESE POINTS:
1). The alcohol free extract should be about 1 part water to 3 parts glycerin OR raw honey.
2). The herb I am using is Nasturtium Leaf also known as Tropaeolum (NOT watercress)
3). I now use honey instead of glycerin for low alcohol or alcohol free extracts, especially medicinal ones

I had a dog who was hit by a combine when he ran away. It tore the inside of his leg to the bone and was infected when we found him. The vet had us put raw honey (any kind just raw), sugar, and a touch of water in a spray bottle. We washed his leg 3 times a day with Luke warm water and sprayed that on it. It started to be straight pink in less than 3 days. Honey is amazing

I'm a nurse and also battling multiple chronic illness. The Healthcare system has not supported me and I have had to find my own ways to heal. This is a great resource for me. I will absorb it. Thank you.

I am having to start a book from writing notes down or recipes. I have never grown naturtium but definitely want to try. My daddy used to say God gave us all the meds to use; it is just knowing what, how to use it, and how much.

I'm a 69 year old woman who has used nature and foraged for food and medicine in the woods all my life, taught by parents and grandparents. I made a tincture of Usnea, one of nettles, and one of mullein, then took dropper bottles, made a mix of the three and individual dropper bottles also so I can change ingredients as needed. I also made a tincture of wild lettuce and prickly lettuce for arthritis pain. I have made elderberry tincture for the last four years, so I have several containers of that. The elderberries are big and plump here. I always use 100% vodka for my tinctures. I make elixers of my remedies according to need with fruit honey I made, seltzer water and gin or brandy. Blessed Be!

When my older daughter was 3 she slipped off her scooter and really scraped her back on the curb. We couldn't find the Polysproin to put on the scrapes, then I prayed and was reminded about honey being good for cuts and scrapes. We gently patted her back with a warm, wet wash cloth. Then we gently applied honey to the scrapes and the pain and swelling was completely down within 20 minutes. Her back was tender for a few days, but the honey dealt with the worst of it.

I absolutely love that you started your channel to help others. I've been bingewatching your videos for a couple days now and I just love everything. About a decade ago, I had tried to do many of the things you talk about throughout your videos, but for some reason I stopped, and I'm now getting to the point where I really miss all of that for the health benefits (for my family and the environment) and the cost-effectiveness. Your channel has really been a blessing to find.

I've been growing nasturtium for years for chefs in the area. I knew all the beneficial aspects of the plant. But I can't believe I haven't thought to make a extract that will last for practically ever as a all natural antibiotic. Brilliant. I love herb-lore.

Eating locally-sourced, raw honey definitely helped your perceived allergies...also eating organic. Inspirational. I admire your tenacity and self-education. As an aside, i harvested and dried feverfew I grew from your seeds, purchased last year. (i need to try again with the marshmallow, however. ) I'm looking forward to making extracts with my homemade vinegars, also inspired by you. Thank you, Heidi.
