Don’t Take Oil of Oregano Until You Watch This 🌿 #shorts

Don’t take oil of oregano until you watch what Dr. Janine has to say. Oregano is a great herbal medicine that helps as an anti-parasitic and against candida. Oregano can delay viral disease progression and improve the body’s resistance to infections in general. However, Dr. Janine explains that oil of oregano contains high concentrations of the active components carvacrol and thymol which can be difficult for the liver to digest. Dr. Janine prefers taking the whole herb (in plant form) ensuring the right amounts of the active components.

Anytime I have a fever, bad cough, etc, I place 4 to 5 drops in a hot cup of water and drink it down, then repeat until symptoms disappear. When I have teeth or gum issues, I use the same cup of hot water to hold and swish around, and gargle with until water is gone. This has been the best treatment without having to see doctors and pharmacists!!

Those are the ingredients that make oil of oregano anti-microbial. Hard on the liver at what dose? They have been shown in studies to be hepato-protective in certain liver conditions.

Don't mind me, I'm just taking four drops three times a day of 89% carvacrol high potency oregano oil to help with a bacterial overgrowth in my stomach

The oil from the locked case at nutrition store saved my life about 30 years ago. Just like meds are hard on the liver with long term use, just don’t take it forever. (Which unfortunately is what we’re doing with meds in US). Take when needed. I couldn’t have eaten enough oregano plant to help respiratory recovery fast enough. Helped hubby during that very bad awful year too.

If she's trained in traditional medicine, I would question this. Our world is drastically changing to show truth in practically everything. These little snippets dont give proper time to cover much in detail. Just because FDA may not recommend alternative medicine, doesn't mean it's rubbish.

That’s why you take a teaspoon of Black Seed oil with it. Its benefits are numerous enough that it’s mentioned in both the Bible and the Koran, too numerous to mention here, but it protects the liver while the oregano oil does its work.

Hmm… Dr Berg, Dr Axe, and Dr Mandell just to name a few, have all recommended oil of oregano and explained how to use it for different ailments. Not sure why this doctor is opposed to it, and without further explanation.

Doctor Janine, you recommend to take the "whole plant", does this include the roots? Many medicinal plants like echinacea are taken whole (including roots). Although the picture shown does not show the roots. Please clarify thank you very much.

But the whole point of taking oregano oil is exactly to get Thymol and Carvacrol for its health benefits! So makes no sense avoiding those compounds but instead take lower doses to avoid liver issues

Does anyone know if she is talking about oil of oregano or oregano essential oil? I’ve been reading studies and articles and they say oil of oregano is fine to take as needed and thymol and carcavol(?) are fine and major contributor to anti fungal, anti inflammatory, and antioxidants when using/consuming oil of oregano. But many say don’t use oregano essential oil internally because it’s harmful. Are there any studies she’s pointing people to? Or is it only this short?

I would like to see links to studies to support her claims.

Wouldn't Carvacrol and Thymol be in the whole plant as well? I thought it was the Carvacrol and the Thymol that give Oregano its medicinal properties? It's hard to know when you hear different people saying different things. I know it's more concentrated in the oil then the whole plant and I agree eating whole natural foods and herbs on a daily basis (in moderation) is best but it's hard to find or grow certain foods / herbs fresh year round. I spent all summer trying to grow oregano (both inside and outside) and it never grew.

I haven't had any issues with my liver thank goodness and I started taking oil of oregano during the pandemic. I've stopped 2 yrs ago and my Dr says I'm fine

Thank you. FYI, I spilled quite a bit of Oil of Oregano on my counter, about 1/2 hour ago. I wiped it up with towels but got quite a bit in the palm of my hand. Even though I washed my hands within 5 minutes my hand was BURNING. Fortunately, I always keep a can of French Style green beans in the fridge. I open it and poured it into a bowl. Put my hand in there and kept it there for 20 minutes. Afterwards, I put aloe vera gel peppermint oil and lavender oil in it. It's feeling just fine now. I had NO IDEA Oregano Oil could burn !

I had a cough for 6 mos. Clear nostrils, but drainage from my upper sinuses which caused an irritating cough. I tried everything, no go. THE single best thing was oregano oil (4 drops) on a Q-tip inserted in each ear canal. I did it right before bed and woke up with a productive cough and my head sweating (saturated my pillow). I stopped coughing after 15mins and went back to sleep. In the morning there was no more cough, that was a month ago. Oregano oil will burn, so only do this 1/mo.
This worked for me.

My mum has been suffering from Aspergillios, a kind of fungal ball was found on her lungs. Doctors gave her antifungal medicine but am not sure if its effective. Can I recommend Oregano oil to her? Any help is much appreciated.

It is however, great for disinfecting a paper cut that you get under your nail. What a ouchy. Healed in 2 days after use. I’m going to how to get the whole oregano to find out how it’ll help my gut. Pretty excited.
