Life too short for long YouTube videos? Please see the ‘Interesting bits and go-to sections’ information below.

After doing that, we had a lot of requests to see a follow up with some of the pedals featured in this episode. They’re all derived from the Ibanez Tube Screamer but all head off in slightly different directions.
Mick’s Keeley-modded TS-808 is probably our favourite Tube Screamer, so we use that as the benchmark and explore each of the other pedals. Let’s go…

Pedals in this episode…

• TheGigRig Three2One

• Mooer Green Mile

• JHS Moonshine - No longer made, links to latest version

• EarthQuaker Devices Palisades

That's the reason why i love "That Pedal Show"! In all of the video review out there there are those who shreds all the time and those who are the bluesman that have only two bends and that's it.. no one use the pedals for their purposes, just show off, but here.. maaaan.. you can see the real deal with two guys that have a GREAT TONE in their hands, plus great knowledge and coherency. Great work guys!!!!

Guys, thank you so much for employing the Hot Rod Deluxe!!! It is the working man amps, really!! Lots of love and cheers!

As you guys are trying to make the Palisades sound like the 808, you picked 3 bandwidth and 4 voice, which, according to Earthquaker is the setting most like an 808. Good ears! Well done!

Very nice lads. In my wet/dry rig (thanks Dan) I use a Green Rhino into my my AC10 for my drive/attack side and it is the tone I constantly come back to. The mids cut through everything, even with a keyboard and harp as accompaniment. I thank Jeorge Tripps for the added EQ every time I play. Cheers.

The green rhino is the best bang for your buck. Flexible and tweakable enough to let you cover A LOT of ground beyond the 808 thing, but not too overly complicated, so no option paralysis there for me . Doesnt kill my AC'15s chime like the classic circuit does. All the strengths of an 808 but none of the weaknesses. Also, its VERY quiet

I thoroughly enjoyed today's show on a cold, rainy mid-Atlantic morning while having a cup of tea out of my 'That Pedal Show' mug with my Sonic Blue Strat on my lap. I'm a simple man.

I've got to say since watching this show my guitar sound has drastically improved. I could already play guitar but so many of your tips have helped me get the sound I wanted. Thanks for taking the time to do this. Will buy at t-shirt as I've sponged off your knowledge for long enough.

Now that you have a Hot Rod Deluxe, I wouldn't mind seeing a video where you guys compare different Fender amps (Hotrod Deluxe, Blues Jr., Twin, Super, etc.) and explain the differences and similarities.

The thing I appreciate most about you guys is that you aren't sticking to one brand or selling something. W/o bias ..love it! and trying many things.

I love my Green Rhino MKII, I particularly like it for the 100Hz boost/cut control and the mid control moves the mid hump up or down, basically its a modded Tube Screamer. Oh, and my new GigRig G2 is the greatest thing to happen to my guitar playing since I can remember. Thanks guys!

Thank you for finally including the EQD Palisades! I knew you guys would love the pedal, one of my all time favorites.
The clarksdale sounds beautiful as well, wampler is fantastic.

You guys should do a video where you tell us about yourselves and your careers in music. Honestly I love the banter and old stories as much as the gear.

This is what good pedals do: they inspire you to even better playing. Great show, guys. Happy birthday, Mick!

That jazzy chordal lick Mick played at 0:37 just saved my soul!

I've found with the EQD units on my board that you must live with them for a significant timeframe to truly get what you are looking for. The proper EQD "mindset" must be found prior to finding the groovy tones. Congrats to you for getting there so quickly.
