Microsoft's fall product showcase just wrapped up in New York city, and the company has just surprised us with some great updates to certain beloved products, and then another that was completely unexpected. Loving the black color option.

All the devices on my desk are black (monitor, laptop, keyboard, mouse, phone, drawing tablet) EXCEPT my silver Surface Pro 4. And the darkest typecover they have is more gray than black.

I love the Surface headphones, finally Bluetooth headphones that focuses not just on sound but also the mic. I also love that it comes with USB-C and Bluetooth 5.0 not to mention the controls. Just wish they were slimmer to sleep in. I think the Surface computers were a letdown though

Hi Jaime, Ed here. The matte black looks awesome on the surface and the internal 8th generation quad cores looks to be quite snappy. But too bad on the lack of USB-C, looks like it is going to take awhile before it is adopted universally. But the biggest surprise for me were the Headphones. 13 levels of noice cancellation seems to good to be true, and with 40mm drivers has me very curious to their performance. I'm really lookin forward to checking these out and seeing how they hold up.

i don't understand what microsoft have against USB-C

Honestly, I wasn't going to upgrade until next year until I heard about the improved battery life. And although I'm sure it won't live up to spec, my 2017 model only gets up to 4- 5 hrs ( w/ i 7 & CPU intensive applications). If this upgrade gets up to 6-8 hrs, that alone will make the upgrade worth it for me. Was going to hold out for 9th gen Intel chips, but the 8th gen chips seem 'decent' enough upgrades as well.

Nah until surface pro gets USB-C, I will stick with surface pro 4 and keep cooking bacon on it.😂😂

If that Surface Pro 6 had USB-C as well, it would be the dream mobile device for me. Sadly I'll be waiting for the next model.

Very boring conference. They didn't unveil anything worth really covering besides the headphones. Also just get the Bose QC line for a little cheaper. I love Microsoft's surface line, but this was pretty much a S year update.

I remember about a year ago being perplexed by Microsoft's omission of USB type-C. This year: again? Fortunately there's plenty of options from other OEMs. I do particularly like Thinkpads and Dell's Precision line.

From day one the surface pro should’ve have TWO usb ports, one usb-c and one usb-a would be the proper solution at this point

Great! I'm a huge fan of MSPro brand after a fantastic customer service experience with them. I'd like to try my hands on this after I've been a few years on the MSPro3.
