Still an amazing laptop but I was hoping for an updated design language. Maybe thinner bezels, more ports and a discrete GPU to really stick it to Apple. Basically a 16inch surface laptop studio without the screen tilt or a surface Lenovo legion

Tested this out on friday in a shop it's an excellent Laptop, don't need 1 just yet but this is definitely a "Must" for any Windows user. Just so sleek and efficient in the hand.

Microsoft official laptop is so good and sleek than other companies windows laptop such as hp, dell, Lenovo. In this laptop I didn't get any issue. This laptop should make more powerful than mac laptops.

Still remember that screw, that was hidden under thick plastic sticker, that didn't allow Linus to disassemble that thing in nondestructive and obvious way or provide normal service manual for everyone.

Going to be honest, I really wanted to want this, I have a Microsoft store credit expiring early next year in fact. But it was super underwhelming. Same years old design, while it's nice it's starting to look dated next to the SPX inspired thinner bezels/design the Pro inherited, and Microsoft continues to launch chips late into their lives so it'll be competing with 13th gen for a good part of the year while on 12th. AND, dropped the more efficient AMD option just as they brought RDNA 2 to IGPs. Also when you match up the storage/ram it costs just as much as the still more powerful M2. Ehh...

Why doesn't the surface laptop 5 have an option for 16GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD? An average person usually doesn't need 32GB of RAM, while many needs 1TB of SSD. Please release an option to have 16GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD.
